The Grovers travelled to the dales of Bloor.
History Corner:
Did you know Bloordale was named after Joseph Bloor — a brewer, innkeeper, and the 1789 winner of Sexiest Man Alive?

Apparently looking like a fully fed zombie with rabies was popular.
It also explains why everyone was heavily involved with alcohol in the old days.
Back to throwing things with bats…
After a few games that felt like apocalyptic tragedies, the Soxuns tightened the screws.
No errors. That’s not a typo. It actually happened.
Player of the Game: Fionn, translated from Indigenous Native American.. “throws with rocks”
• 5 innings
• 97 pitches
• 7 strikeouts
• Only 2 earned runs
The game was tight — like “jeans-after-Thanksgiving”.
In the 7th, the Soxuns loaded the bases and briefly made the Bloordale girls clutch their pearls.
But alas, like a teenager trying to parallel park, came up just short.
Bonus Mentions: Lorenzo: crushed a double, then tried to rewrite physics going for 3rd.
We might start calling him Icarus.
Next Up: Sigh… It’s the Riverdogs. Again!
They smell a little.
