The men in black socks took a side quest from the regular season to slay demons of the past.

Visiting the neighbouring town of Mississauga, home of Colonel Sanders of Fried Chicken [a true fatty fact].

In previous years, the Mississauga Select/A tournament has not been kind to the SoxGroves.

The motto was always, ‘At least we get to relax on Sunday..’

This year however, the Black or White sometimes Grey Shirts got to play into late Sunday afternoon, proving to themselves that when they play as a team, they are beyond the level of this competition.

The Martins carried a perfect record throughout the weekend, winning the tourney and learning another very important life lesson:
