The Sox of the Whites visited the Christie’s Playgrounds, aka #GoodLuckFindingParkingEver.
The Pit’s Diamond is the 7th wonder of Toronto, being one of its oldest running ballparks.
It took decades to build up the pitching mound to the height it is today [3 feet, 24 inches].

With the mound taking up most of the budget, there were no funds left for covered dugouts or having two umpires per game.
The sun was angry this day like coach Tom stubbing his toe. Pouncing on the participants and spectators with 105-degree solar rays.
At least some old tarp was put on top of the dugouts.
Few were lucky, like the sole umpire who called the game from behind the mound, and was able to hide in its shade.
This was a defensive and pitchers' duel. With Dante as the starter, the Torontonians led 1-0 after three innings.
Martin’s team exploded in the 4th inning, scoring 5 runs on 5 hits, with Lorenzo and Dante smashing doubles.
The men from the Pit attempted a comeback in the last inning but fell short.
Final score: 6-4.
